What is your Halloween Costume?

Postby FoxyJama » Mon Oct 03, 2005 4:18 pm

I'm hoping all of you guys will post up your Halloween costumes after the holiday, but in the interest of sharing cool ideas, what are you going as for Halloween?

My friend James and I have always appreciated costumes that involve a play on words, or an axiom of some kind, and this year is going to be no different.

James is coming to my party in a pirate outfit, accented with rock-climbing carabiners. He's going to be "The Pirate of the Carabiner"

I'm dressing in a torn up scouts uniform, complete with lots of fake blood, bug bites, toy insects, liberally applied bug spray, rubber snakes wrapped around my legs, a toy raccoon sewn onto my back, and a hunter's arrow stuck in my shoulder. I'm "not a happy camper". :)

What are you going to be?

I'm going as a bum who sits around the house in his boxers and plays computer games.

Oh wait...
I may be retired, but I'm GridStream for life.

I'm going as the penguin that chases Veldron daily & terrorizes him in his dreams! Or maybe as the bum that sits in front of the computer most nights

This year I'm pretty stumped. Usually I spend 6 months building/getting ready for Halloween but have just been to busy this time around.

I could go for the ol' fall back and be the stormtrooper yet again, but I'm not overly eager to do the same thing.

Kitkat's going as Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's (omg yummy), and neither one of us can think of anything I can do to compliment that, other than just being some "guy in a suit", but that's no fun either.

I think I'd really like to do Rorschach from The Watchmen, but I think Kate's the only person within 100 miles that would know who I was.

So, the short answer: I have no idea. Yet.

I'm not going as anything... since I don't celebrate Halloween. Even if I were, I wouldn't know what to be. By the way... am I the only one who isn't surprised, that Foxy is choosing a costume, which involves "a play on words" ???

,|..| Rorschach was the whip-shit. I couldn't imagine picking anyone else from that comic over him.

As much as I want to walk around in the streets of New York as bling Nexeus... I'm not quite sure what the hell I'm doing for holloween yet. Maybe I'll walk around in a kings robe, wearing the Nexeus belt

Or maybe I'll find Chai and party with him that weekend, who knows.

Im thinking of going (irl) as my AO character, and make a brace out of clear plastic to hold a yellow hp bar and name over my head... ive always thought that would be really fun to do. i can pull off most the outfit, but finding a yalm irl is proving rather tricky...
