I also run Stardock's Windowblinds, so that I can skin/theme windows in ways that window's can't natively (and I can windowshade open windows, a'la Mac as well). Something else I wouldn't live without.

Back in the day, I really liked to tweak my desktop out with the Litestep Wharf stuff. Until I realized that my system was actually becoming LESS stable because it was running on top of the explorer process. So I dropped back to the classic desktop.
Now, seeing that desktop (AWEsome wallpapers, btw, Deca), I'm interested in giving full-conversions another shot, but still wary. What kind of resources does that take up? I don't have much if any to spare.
