It's truly hilarious how this got blown so far out of proportion.
Boglwe is the one person most famous for doing nothing. That's a funny quip, yet truthful. I haven't talked to her much because, quite frankly, she doesn't strike me as an overly intelligent creature.
If what you say about her homophobia and Bush-supportiveness are true, then yes, those parts of her I dislike and consider blind stupidity. But on the vast outspoken majority, it's a fact that Rubi-Ka does appreciate the humor of Boglwe's presence. 99% of whom have never spoken a word to her and therefore do not KNOW (or neccessarily care) what her views are about...um...anything at all.
If you want to throw a tantrum every time someone says something slightly deterrant from your own little world, Saint, that's your call.
Example: Bush is about to win, and I threw a tantrum on air. You know what it got me? Several people stating how dumb I was for publically announcing that I hate my country because of this election. As of this moment, I suppose I still do hate my country, but that doesn't justify my public reaction. It was indeed dumb of me.
Don't think for an instant that I don't KNOW you'd feel a little bit of sick anger and the intense desire to stand up and shout "Bush sucks!" if you heard that on the radio. I daresay you'd tune out too.
Know me that well? I'd state my disagreement and leave. I certainly would NOT /shout "Bush sucks" under those circumstances. That's called griefing.
And one thing I would NEVER do is offer an arguement in comparison for a public tantrum and "I'm tuning out *footstomp footstomp*" between the leadership of america and a funny girl who stands in front of a whompa on RK.
I like bagels. If you don't, good for you. If it disgusts you that my taste in bagels is repeated on the air, great. If I say "Rubi-Ka loves bagels" and get a majority response in the positive, yet you disagree and feel the need to publically rant over something so inanely trivial and tune out because of it, well that's great too. Bubye and hope your playlist was enjoyable.
We all put our true priorities to the foreground, don't we.
But perhaps it's a good point when you say "I tune out of GSP every time one of you starts gushing about how freaking wonderful that pink horror is."
How about from now on I just tune YOU out every time you offer some overly opinionated voice of self-worth as though anyone who doesn't agree is an absolute moron in your private little "I think therefore I'm right" world. You can go ahead and play it off like it doesn't insult or hurt you to hear something like that, but my point is made nonetheless.
