Should've known it was only a matter of time

Postby Vallikat » Tue Dec 27, 2005 11:30 pm

I've been experimenting little by little with visiting GSP and a couple other forums from work to see if it would raise any eyebrows. So far so good, until today. Today I noticed that when I went to access GSP I got a pop-up that said "[my employer] is scanning for viruses or [blah, blah, blah] before redirecting you." It did acually redirect me after a few seconds, but I closed it out immediately anyway. I've been to other sites as well and have not received this same pop-up. It only happens for GSP. So my thought here is that I've visited it enough times to have raised a warning flag somewhere. So no more forum surfing from work for me. :(

Methinks even worse than browsing the net - trying to install a pop-up blocker to block your employer's software is a might bit worse. Kinda like going from poking somebody's arm to plunging a sword in their shoulder.

Yeah blocking your employers blocker seems dodgy eh...
Hmm... Tough luck I guess... Not much one can say really... :?
