The Iraq Time Killer....

Postby Coruptd » Mon Dec 05, 2005 1:07 pm

Right, for lack of anything else to do when I'm not running missions over here I thought that I would get back into writing again. Gonna do things a bit differently than usual and aquire some feedback before I get too far into the story. Also need some help coming up with a title for it, but anyway here is what I have so far...

Untitled (Working Title...Um..Yeah)
By Eric "Corupted" Locke

I am a wanderer. I wander through this life as I have trough all the others. I have no purpose, no sense of belonging. I merely drift from place to place, helping or hindering as I see fit. Over the centuries, I have met others like me, but you are the first that has even shown the remotest possibility of being a worthwhile companion. Granted, you still have to prove yourself to me. For the time being, consider yourself on something of a probation. I'll give you three chances to screw up before I either leave you or kill you. Consider this a warning. After you have proven yourself to me, I shall always be your friend, and believe me, friends are extremely hard to come by in this life.

Any advice, critisism, etc.. would be appreciated.

This might need to be moved since I wasn't too sure if it belongs in the RPG section.

Firstly, yes, this should probably be in the RP section or something.

Secondly, I do believe Smegg is spellt with two "g"'s... It is on the official T-Shirts anyway.

Thirdly, anyone saying "Smoke me a kipper" is doomed to have a hardgram leak, and be forced to be replaced by your holographic twin from a paralel dimension.

Fourthly and last, nice writing dude!

 Tm

P.s
Interesting side note, before I chose "Oddysee" Smegg Head" was my online nick for years on end... God I miss Red Dwarf!

I've always spelled it smeg but since the official shirts have two g's then I'm most likely wrong. Once my holographic twin decides to show up, I'll let you all know. I too miss the Red Dwarf and her crew but luckily for me I own the first four seasons on DVD. Can't seem to find the others as of yet. As for the story started, I'll prolly continue it if I get a bit more feedback. Course I still need a title for it, but that will prolly come as it gets farther along.

I spellt it with 1 g for eons... Then a mate showed me the T-shirts... I couldn't quite believe it was 2 g's, but the shirts seemed to say so... I just assumed I had gotten it wrong... I'd be more than happy to believe it's 1 g, it looks so much better... But... = /

So do I. Another reason to think it is one G instead of two.

Hehe, the things I start without actually meaning too. Anyway, more feedback on the story starter would be appreciated.
