It has a lot to do with the show, as the series of numbers keeps appearing throughout the series. Trust me, it's worth watching to find out the odd things they're associated with. Just don't make a drinking game out of it or you'll end up in the hospital.

I have to place a bit of bitter-old-man agreement with The Saint on this one, I'm afraid.

I tried to regulate it once, killing everyone's gargantuan sig banners and asking them to shrink them down a bit, since they don't need to take up half the page at 1280x1024 resolution to be noticable.

But no-one listened, and I doubt anyone ever will, so I suck it up and deal with it, and continue to fight the power by compensation in having no sig banner.

EDIT: I just had a thought. So long as people reserve their right to annoy the bejeezus out of me with unnecessarily gigantor sig banners, I reserve the right to sarcastically quip about it in my sig.

Personally I could care less - here at work: 21 in monitor - at home: 19 in primary monitor. But then I'm not the one who gets to set down rules here and I'm also not all you other folks who might be stuck on 15" monitors (hopefully not less than that :shudder: )

Same here, 19 at work, 21 at home, both at very high (1280x) resolution.

And some of these sigs still take up half a screen.

That's my point.

Heheheh... I actually had this awful, terrible, most annoying thought to make a sig 100 pixels wide and 400 tall just to see how far we'd fallen. Then I had an attack of actual intelligence and decided it was better to not beat the bear on the head with the stick.

There is a new one in the works tho. Reflecting my true and complete bitchiness. LOL! Coming soon to a forum near you from a galaxy far, far away.

the sparse style is OK, but I'd have to see a version with some kind of background as well. Like the lettering style though - kinda retro like that 80s link
