Just a note. If your Opera Browser has been acting flaky over the last week or so, try updating to v 8.5. I did that and everything smoothed out. :D

Please do not comment like this on things that you have obviously very little knowledge about please... many consider opera to be vastly superior.. but then they know how to make opera work to its fullest potential...

I really don't wanna get into an arguement here... People are free to comment what they like.. but the Browser War is a topic that has been beaten for weeks and months by Decavolt, Tarryk and Myself... In the end we all agreed Firefox rocked, with Tarryk saying IE had it's places as well.

and we left it at that... so we didn't kill people.. lol

I've used Opera, I've used IE, I've used Netscape, and FF of course.. Firefox just happens to be the best one IMHO.

Well, unfortunately I missed this offer. I have never used Opera, but i definitely thing Firefox beats any other browsers ive used, ie, netscape, or compuserve (and aol, if you count that...). but if there's a debate about which one is better, it must be good, cause i love firefox. If it was easy to run AO on my linux system, i would hardly touch my windows os. for those that say Opera is superior, what makes it such? i mean, comparing firefox to ie, its easy for me to describe the benefits: #1, tabs! #2 faster #3 firefox has never crashed on me. just those make it worth it. so what's the benefits of Opera that supercede this? thanks

In a funnymove. Opera is now free! No ads, nothing crippled.

I guess the free anniversary gimmick was so popular they realized they had more to gain handing out Opera for free, and with out ads.

www.opera.com Get it free and no more ads.

well, i got opera, and the little that ive messed around, i like it. the voice feature is pretty nifty  . I'd recommend anyone trying it out, especially since its free. havent noticed a huge difference from firefox yet, but i havent messed with it much, either. it seems to me to be at least as good, so as i learn more, it will probably exceed it. either way, both of them blow IE off the planet.
