Postby Nova » Tue Jul 05, 2005 5:09 am

I was thinking the other day, Why do so many people love GSP? I thought, is it the music? Nawwww could do that without GSP. Is it the partys? Naww could do that too. Then it hit me. Its the GSP staff!!! you guys are all great and RK would not be the same without you! Keep Rocking on!

I think it's a combination of varied music spread pretty evenly over pretty much ever genre, and, of course, the DJ's and staff of GSP. They put in a LOT of work into giving us, the other players, music, entertainment, events, contests and a good opportunity to socialize across factions.

Through GSP I've met some seriously amazing people. Even though I have never met them in person, I can thank GSP for bringing them and me into a situation where I had the opportunity to meet some extraordinary friends.

ROCK ON!

GSP THE VOICES OF RUBIKA

NO it is not the music trust me It is the DJs tht make GSP what it is

When I first tuned into GSP I hated the music it was loud nd sounded to me like a bunch of screaming idiots.... I did not tune out because The DJs were talking to the people I interacted with daily for me in the begining it was an education.. I learned who the jerks were and who the helpful people were and most of all I learned that GSP was the Voice not thier voice but ours

So many times someone would ask for directions and some how some way the DJ got them to thier destination even to the point of someone going to retrive the person that was lost

So many times someone would ask What is This for or Where do i find that The DJ would get them the answere

I was introduced to a whole new world of music and friends threw GSP and I can say that it is the reason for my existance I would do anything to preserve and protect everything that GSP is today and I know without them even if others took to the airways of Rubika this game would desolve into nothing ness for me

The respect that GSP gives to its listeners and the love that the listeners give back to them can not and never willbe duplicated

I LOVE YOU ALL H00T H00T

Still love you, even from that galaxy far, far away. My Master Dancer wishes he could be a GSP Dancer. And Noobia is a grumpy jedi-in-training because she doesn't get to go to GSP parties.

Well GSP gives me a chance to relax and get away from the lvling and heckler bashing. Without GSp I would have probly left to find a new game by now GSP really takes AO to a whole new lvl for a lot fo people and you all treat us like family we love ya and would go crazy without you

GSP is what attracted me to this game. Conversation went something like this:

Me: I dunno, I don't want a shoot 'em up. You know I'm not really into that.

My friend: There is 1 aspect of the game that is absolutely down your alley.

Me (doubtful): Oh yeah. What would that be?

Friend: There is a game-based radio station with really cool DJs and this totally awesome dance club called Reets with a glass dance floor.

Me: Get out!!

Friend: So you think you'll try it? (you could almost read the satisfaction in the question)

Me: This I gotta' see.

Actually tuned in to GSP before ever buying the game and have been hooked since.

I came for GSP and I stay for GSP. If I ever decided to leave the game, I'd still tune in. I'm so totally impressed and entertained by what you all do on a daily basis. I just can't say enough about what having GSP has meant to me. :)

Hmm..Reasons I love GSP

Postby Acquisition » Thu Jul 07, 2005 3:46 am

Well, I work in a bar, so it feels like home to be at Reet's. The DJs are a diverse group and almost always entertaining. The music, well..sometimes.. heh.. sometimes I turn down the music and just turn it up when I hear people talking.

Having GSP is a big part of what makes AO more than a game and more like a community social event to me. Heck, I listen to GSP when I'm shooting pool and not even on AO. It's partly the interaction which you really can't get through a RK4 radio station, and partly just plain entertaining to listen to.

I just know that at 4 am after a long night of fighting off drunks, then coming home and fighting off cultists, hecklers, and those darn leets... kicking back and having a nice cloudy martini while listening to the GSP DJ rambling helps ease my mind. Now if only I could get GSP to pump out through my speakers at the bar..... hmm.....

We love y'all, keep up the good work..it is appreciated.

I love GSP for too many reasons that I could post at once. But prolly the most important one would be RESPECT. I also would not still be playing AO if it wasn't for GSP.

Ahhh.. I love the DJs. They are so awesome and friendly and I can't think of that one word..

I came to Reet's on my third day of playing AO ever, (after some REALLY bad directions) and een though at the time I couldn't tune in, Tza was still really cool and fun to hang out with. Months later, it got even better. I wouldn't play AO half as much as I do without the DJs. And I bet that even in half that time I'd still lvl faster without you guys ;) But where's the fun in that? ^_^ Party on!
