Vacation!! - sorta'

Not actually my vacation, but my sister's vacation. She asked if I wouldn't mind house/cat sitting for her while she is away (leaving tonight and coming home July 9). Since she's taking my kid with her, I figure feeding her cats is the least I can do.

So anyway it's close enough that I'll be back and forth between both houses. However, there's no AO on her computer. I will be installing Winamp so I can tune in to GSP and I will be checking in here so I'm not completely out of the loop, but I won't be able to log into the game while I'm there. I may come home from time to time and pop-in, but don't really expect to see me on world.

Simple solution - while sitting on her cats (that's what you are doing correct) install AO on her computer. Presto - Bingo!

I considered it. Not sure what kind of set-up they have though. I do know that they have Verizon DSL as their ISP. I use cable internet so i'm not sure if DSL is good for running the game or not. From the times I have used their computer in the past it seems significantly slower.

ON my end I have to attend a cookout on Sunday so dont know when ill get on i hate going away on Sundays i want to get my Suue fix and if I am away no Suue *pouts* My Vacation begins on July 8 at midnight so Ill be headed for Florida and disney world with my grandkids for a week lucky for me you we be done Cat sitting so it works out fine ....Ill be back around the 16th if i dont get heat stroke

Ok, so as it turns out, my sister doesn't have central air in her new house yet. So what that means is that as long as it continues to be ungodly hot, there's no real point of my installing AO here. There's something about sitting here in a puddle of my own sweat that just isn't so appealing for me. So...like I said, I won't be around on world so much this week. I'll be checking in on the forums though and tuning in to the stream for as long as I can take it.
