A Great Big Thank You ...and a widdle story about Meenstreek

So...this weekend ROCKED!

Got a couple of thank you's I want to add to the list.

First, to the DJs...

Ya'll...I listened to ya all freakin' weekend. (This isn't anything new...ya'll know I'm addicted.) But you guys never cease to amaze me! I love tuning in and listening to ya'll go on about nothing and everything. I love the comradery you all have. I love the friendships you have all built and the awesome teamwork you guys show. But most importantly...I love seeing how much you guys are doing it for the fun of it. How much ya'll really do it because you enjoy it. I can tell ya'll aren't doing it because you want to be popular. Well...maybe Chaimera and Meenstreek are...but... j/k. :) No really...you guys just have a blast playing music you enjoy listening to. I appreciate all the new music ya'll have introduced me too (especially Iced Earth, Veldron ;) ) Ok...enough enlarging your heads...

To the ARKs:

You guys did a phenominal job over this weekend. You kept everyone interested in wanting more. You did a great job with the decorations...and most importantly an AWESOME job with the Rumble on both servers!! That setup was amazing. You guys truly do an amazing job on Rubi-Ka.

To the Dancers:

What to say to you all...you took me in...and made me family. That is an incredibly thing to do for someone you hardly knew. Now most of you know me very well :) I'm so happy to be part of the Dancer family on both servers. Thank you so much for welcoming me. And thank you for listening to me vent ...Jugs will know what I mean :)

To the Players:

Not much to say other than you guys all rock. You just do. The majority of you are warm and friendly and love helping new people out. You also respect that some new people just want their space and want to do things on their own. Thank you for that.

So...now that I've said my thank you's....let me tell you a little story about Meenstreek and Sunday morning :P

So...it's Saturday night and Veldron has handed the stream over to Chaimera and Meenstreek. They do the illustrious B.E.E.R. for a couple hours before Skype beings spazzing out and won't let Chaimera in at all.
Meenstreek just takes over the stream and starts an impromptu show of The Goodness.

Before he left, Chaimera had given me some cash to run vicinity contests with. So...I'm running them...and I finish out the cash that he has given me. I shrug and say what the heck...and start dipping into my own funds because I just love Vicinity Contests and everyone is having a real good time. Don't want to kill the fun :P

I get down to the point where I can only run like...2 more contests. I let people know I'm down to having 2 contests left and I get a /tell from Meenstreek letting me know he's gonna crash after my last contest. We've got like 2 hours before Tarryk comes on on RK2. So...to prevent the inevitable playlist...I announce that I'm taking donations to keep Meenstreek on the air and keep the contests running. In literally one minute...I was sitting on another 35 Million Credits. The contests were going to continue...and Meenstreek was stuck on air :P He didn't get off until 8am when Tarryk took over. My mission was accomplished. :P

Ok...I'm done with the babble. Continue on with your lives ;)

Actually in GSP, for meetings and such we at times ask each other to wake each other up. I LOVE to do it, maybe because I'm just wierd, but because my family has a history of having to wake each other up in just the weirest, most f***ed up ways. Sometimes its singing, othertimes it's yelling, sometimes it's shaking an asprin bottle right over your ear!

So when a DJ needs to be woken up, I love to handle that job, personally I try to like ot make it fun... okay yes I'm weird... but like you didn't know this already.

lol. I forgot to set my alarm and as soon as my phone started ringing I knew I was late lol. Woke straight up out of a dead sleep, picked up the phone and I was pretty delirious cause I thought it was one of my buddies from work for about a split second lol.
