For once the justice system actually worked correctly.

Mikey Jackson: Not Guilty -- All Counts

I'll tell you straight up, the dude is mental. He lacked any sort of childhood, and he's gone through some MESSED up shizzle in his life, and it left him in serious need of some medication. He just ain't all there.

You may even go so far as to say he's sick in the head.

But he is NOT that kind of sick. Never has been, never will be. Why do I think so? Because sickness like that wouldn't even occur to him. He's got the brain of a child, not of a man who wants to be sexual with children.

The only thing I'm iffy on is the alcohol. I'm thinking he probably gave the kids some wine or something. But hell, I'd say Not Guilty as well, he's been through enough just for the other charges, and he doesn't even know how to live like an adult, let the poor freak go home.

And as for the family? I knew they were shady from day one. Bunch of lying scammers trying to get rich off Michael. If I were him, I'd countersuit their scamming asses into the deepest bowels of bankruptcy. But that's me, not Mike. He probably just wants this shyte behind him. Can't blame him. Move on, Jacko. Moonwalk for us, and keep yer nose on.

I hate to say it, but I think of Michael Jackson kind of like Batman.

Hold on, let me explain.

Bruce Wayne was a victim of circumstances. His parents were brutally murdered by a criminal, and once this happened he realized that the city he lived in was corrupt, just as society is corrupt. Now, most people would think that he chose to become Batman for vengeance, I have to disagree.

No matter what, Batman always pursued the criminals, but he never killed them. He wasn't a killer, he wasn't a bad man. Instead, he sent them to prison, and jail. The crazy ones, he sent to the asylum, so they would have the chance to redeem themselves. Sometimes people died at the hands of these maniacs that he sent back to jail, and you could say that Batman was also responsible for those deaths, but Batman believed in more than mere vengeance and the justice as do unto others, as they'd do unto you. He wants everyone to have a chance to correct their mistakes.

Batman didn't exist because he wanted to beat up bad guys and seek vengeance against those that killed his mother and father. Batman exists to work himself out of a job. He wants a world where a young Bruce Wayne does not have to live with his family getting killed. He wants a world where he doesn't even need to exist.

It's true, Michael didn't have a good childhood. A lot of the kids that he's chosen to help, they didn't have the best childhoods either. Hell, the kid that was part of this trial had cancer. I believe his feelings towards children are genuine, and I agree with Tarryk, that justice was served in this instance.

A lot of people are saying that it was his celebrity that allowed him to get aquitted on this trial. I have to disagree. Thomas Mesereau Jr. did an outstanding job as a defense attorney in this case. If it wasn't for his actions in court, I don't think Jackson may have won.

Anyway, that's enough from in my brain. All that can be said about this entire case is, justice was served.

Eh. I'm not 100% certain here.

I agree the family tried to scam him and that the mom should be prosecuted. (though I seriously doubt he will sue her or otherwise try to bring charges against her)

I agree that he's sick.

But I'm not sure whether or not he's that kind of sick. I don't believe he is from the perspective of being a sexual predator. But I would have to say I'm more of the mind that he might do things that he doesn't view as being wrong. In that sense I would put him more in the category of mental instability. Which, I wouldn't doubt for a second. I don't believe that Michael Jackson could possible come through his life without being mentally instable.

So I don't know. Does he think like that? Well we can assume he knows what sex is. We can assume he knows what feels good sexually. We can also say that he has a childlike mind and a childlike and extremely distorted view of reality. So I think the possibility exists that in a need to love and be loved there may have been some line crossing involved. but I don't think that he would do those things from the kind of twisted, evil, malicious mind that we normally associate with a child molestor. I think it is entirely possible that he may of done things that he considers to be perfectly innocent and natural.

I do believe that the jury did their jobs in this case and I do believe that they reached the correct verdict. Regardless of anything else I just stated, that is merely my opinion. There was simply too much room for reasonable (and more than reasonable) doubt. The accusor and mother had absolutely 0 credibility.

But I'm just not certain that he is entirely innocent.

I'm going to have to side with Valli on this one, even as a MJ fan. I don't doubt one bit that MJ isn't unstable. "Unstable" is a subjective term though, isn't it? He may very well still be a child in his mind. But to say that even children do not have sexual tendencies is to deny the way the human race works. What one would need to evaluate about MJ is intent.

Didn't watch the trial, follow it or anything else... to be honest... couldn't be a***d in the slightest had more important things to do, like inspecting the fluff in my belly button...

( I didn't actually do that was just a random example )

... however I'd have to agree the guy is seriously nutsbar insane and needs therapy...

Kinda like the Batman analagy as there's been a hint in some of the comic's that the Dark Knight isn't exactly driving on all cylinders himself...

Also agreed on the whole scammer thing, regardless of if he did or did not do the things I've no doubt the parents embelished things more than a little...

look... here's how I look at is as...

If I'm a parent, and I let anyone else sleep with my kid that isn't my family, immediate more so (SO NO UNCLE BOB SLEEPING WITH MY KID), then that's on me.

Michael is a case of when waaaay too many people fall in love with you all at once, now I can move on!
