I heard an update to this last night from friends who play EQ II. They tell me the plan now is to open brand new servers with the exchange program available on them. Apparently they no longer intend to offer it on pre-existing servers at all.

They've done it in WoW too. Panderan express will bring up a chinese take away service.

You can even earn Starbucks coffee tokens. PvP honour tokens convert to coffee discount tokens... Or som'n like it. Dunno really, don't care, think I'm actually done with MMO's. Haven't been online like that since we went back to England for a visit. And with my heading to Australia in 12 days, I wont be able to play for over a year anyway. All in all, I'm not really that sorry...
