What do you love about GSP?

Postby FoxyJama » Wed Mar 09, 2005 5:32 pm

I love listening to GSP at work.

I love it when one of the DJs plays a song that I have to get out of my chair and dance around the office to. Veldron played "Pour Some Sugar on Me" last night and I was dancing around the house for the rest of the night. It's all I can do to stay in my chair during Switchy's shows.

I love finding out that my husband knows all the words to the Duck Tales theme song when he sings it during Switchy's show.

I love giggling every time I hear "DOOM!"

I love seeing characters come into Reet's Retreat and ask bewildered questions about what we're all doing.

I love GSP for turning Anarchy Online into the only game I sit down and play that actually makes me SMILE.

How about you?

LOL Boinky. ;)

I could type up a huge, huge list. But:

I love GSP for inspiring me to come back to AO, and causing me to enjoy almost 3 years of friendships, roleplay, and music.

I love the entertainment factor that GSP's brought me, both as a listener and a DJ. \o/

I love GSP for just plain being there. AO is twice as much fun as it would be without GSP. It gives me something to do besides camp stuff, and smash rocks all day.

I also love the each DJ knows his/her regular listeners, and usually says hello as they show up to the show (unless its really crowded and he/she is super busy). Each GSP show is more close, and personal then traditional radio where the DJ is not aware of me as a listener or a person, just as a rating point.

I could list things I like about each DJ, but as I tend to be busy on alot of nights I always seem to catch the same DJs over and over again, so Im not as familiar with each DJ as I'd like to be, I will just leave it as stated above.

What he said... :P

I really enjoy the sense of cummunity among GSP listeners and DJ's alike. It's almost like a little cult of GSP groupies lol.

And I have to agree with Britt9081's comment about that personal touch that comes from being able to interact with the listeners.

All of the above!

But mostly I think it is becaused they have totally broadened my musical horizons. I have been introduced to tons of music that I never would've heard, let alone liked.

I love my GSP so very much!
