No Mo Daytime E-mail

Postby Tarryk » Fri Mar 04, 2005 4:07 pm

To anyone who may have or may yet still count on the fact that I can always get my email during work hours: I've been given the fat denial.

My work has always had a block on any web address starting with *mail.* but my web-mailer was always conveniently located on a www.* addy.

Until today.

Bastards at my ISP decided to upgrade to a more user-friendly environment...and now I can't check my email during the day because of their new domains.

F*&#.

My Yahoo e-mail is blocked at work & aparently depending upon the unknown fluctuations of our network, certain sites are as well at times including the official AO forums (but luckily never the GSP forums :wink: )

well i don't have an option to access the internet at either of my jobs :evil: so no checking e-mail for me or browsing the GSP forums :( but on the other hand since i work at a video game store, if i get bored i have tons of games that i can try out to pass the time :twisted:

Have a copy of your mail forwarded to your LU account. The mail interface I built there runs strictly through the web with no mail.* prefix. They'd have to specifically block that site in order to keep you from checking your email.

decavolt = Mr MAN!

hahaha!!

I work at an ISP, they dont do stupid shit like block webmail, but I cant access other pop3 servers. Oh woe is me, I have to look at my email as a list in a time efficient manner instead of waiting ages for the email to download first? Shoot me! :lol:
