You know, I can't quite put my finger on it...but the comic reminds me somehow of the old game Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders. Actually, I think I CAN put my finger on it now.

1: The proportions of it. I can practically see a mouse cursor clicking on the door of the house, saying "open door".

2: The figure in panels 1 and 2. That's almost the EXACT pose that characters in the game were in when facing down.

3: The "Holy crap, it isn't a mop, but a living thing!" ...I just did realize this one. There's a scene in Zak where a woman finds a "broom" sleeping in a bed, then realizes it's actually an alien.

This is NOT a bad thing, though. If that's actually your drawing style, let me be the first to say it rocks completely. Zak was my first REAL game addiction, so it holds a lot of good memories. :D

Edit: You know, I think even the line "*sigh* What a mess!" was in the game somewhere. But maybe not exactly.

I've never heard of that game, so I'm pretty confident that I didn't plagiarize anything ;)

As for my drawing style for this strip, it's tailored precisely for comic strips. It can be reduced easily without loss of detail or 'overcrowding' of too much detail. You can see more of my drawings and some small style variations (along with some great stuff from other artists) here.

Didn't mean to infer plagarism. :P Probably just a freaky coincidence. I'd recommend to look around for screens of it(if not the game itself). It's in the same line of games as Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island. That probably tells you something about the content of it.

Hehe Tir McDohl, now there's a compliment if I ever heard one.

Hey Decavolt, don't be surprised if Lucasarts calls you about a job :P

Thumbs up from the Gunney SIR!"

Gunney's easy to understand. Read him aloud, phoneticly.
"Ke barjurir gar'ade, jagyc'ade kot'la a dalyc'ade kotla'shya."

hee! Looks like I'm not the only one bitten by the "Make-a-comic" bug. I'm also gathering together a force to create a web comic. Perhaps once I get started we can link to each others strips and spread a little bit of readership around. :P

And by the hilarity of this strip, looks like you'll have a good share of readers. :o

Thanks Firia! And yeah, I'd love to link to your comic. Let me know when it's up and I'll be sure to link you.
