Okay, I remember when APC first came out that they sounded somewhat different of what they sound like now, and ontop of that they had a girl guitarist - but now they sound more and more like tool (I know why), and the girl isn't in the band anymore. Can someone tell me what happened, and why is that girl not in the band anymore?

I wouldn't say they sound like Tool, other than Maynard's unmistakable voice. APC is much much more melodic, moody, and not as dark as Tool. APC was started by Billy Howerdel and Paz Lenchant, and Maynard only came later. The girl guitarist was Jackie (can't find her last name), but I couldn't tell you where she went. Maybe they ate her.

I remember that they rotated guitarists for a while, and I think she still performs sometimes, but Twiggy did the guitar work for this latest album rather than her.

Your right, they don't sound like tool, but some of their songs are very Tool-ish. I'm listening to all of their stuff that I have (spans over their three CD's) and each one has a very, very different style - so it just threw me off. Thanks guys. Any more information would be appreciated (and yes Jackie is hot)
