I got a job!!

Postby Tristalyn » Tue Nov 16, 2004 11:18 pm

Just got the call today! :) I go for my drug test tomorrow and depending on how fast they can schedule my physical, she said she may just run me through the ER if they can't get it in before the holidays.. So I start ASAP!

I didn't bother telling anyone I was trying for the job because I'm always so afraid I'll jinx it, but it's for the local hospital and I'll be working in Admissions.. (meaning any time you have to come in and register, for ER, blood work, x-rays, etc, I'll be the one taking care of you and making sure you got the right order for your tests).

I am so friggin excited right now! It'll be so nice to have an extra paycheck with Christmas coming up and being slammed with a new car payment after my car wreck in August. Downfall is, my mom flys in from Idaho on Tuesday and will be here thru February so time with her will be scheduled around work but the good news is.. Santa's actually coming this year, and I'll be working at the same place as my boyfriend so it'll be convenient and familiar for me!

Anyway just thought I'd share.. It's not often I get good news to post about. :)

Wish me luck!

What helps me get up early (and I mean seriously helps me) is by sleeping by sunlight. I wake up slowly and restfully when The sun shines in my face.

Not too much sunshine around at 5 AM right now. Unless you're south of the equator of course :P

Or is a lamp or something?

Coltess, that's exactly what I was gonna say.. What sunshine? :)
I'll just have to go to bed early tonight.. I like sleeping so it shouldn't be a problem. :)

I have never gotten used to getting up early. Getting up around 5:30am is a pain in the ass. I guess something called regular lifestyle would help...

Oh and Grats Trist!

Just remember, even if they've got a gaping head wound they have to fill out the forms before a doctor can see them!
