Yay, its back!! Last night on Tarryk's show it seemed that sorryeverybody.com was down. However, just for the heck of it I tried again and its back. It seems they just took it down to upgrade it.

It appears the sum of each country is predefined as well... I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but what's with the sudden rush of midevial values and ideals?
According to some study I saw, every second yank on average is religious. Now while I don't really believe it's that bad, I know it's still a lot more than your average European. And while religion is not a bad thing, having such a large quantity of very religious people (church and prayer) still makes it pretty difficult to sepperate religoin and state.
I believe we're all waging war on another rather significant religious majority who failed to do just that? I take it I don't need to mention the results?
We've come further, a lot! But the current direction is takin it back a notch I'd say. It kinda leads me to believe that the only reason it's so much better compared to them, is because state and religion was sepperated when the imigration across the Atlantic began. Because it sure doesn't seem like it's very sepperated any more.
The bible might be fine, but you cannot define laws upon it. Especially when it comes to human rights!
Did you know that if you try and deny someone an abortion in Europe, you have the human rights lawyers on your ass? Same if you try to prevent a gay couple from doing anything.
Heck, talking about them negatively via a public channel will get you in as much trouble as saying "Black people are lesser, and God hates them" on television.
How did that guy ever become a leader? His views are openly minority discriminating in much the same way as Racism.
In Europe, especially here in Denmark, sex is something we talk about all the time (heck our commercials are probably what you would call X-rated) and prevention is a word 10-year-olds know...
Now I know we spearheaded the porno revolution, being the first country in the world to legalise it, and the first to have public strip joints and nude shows, but still... It's not like it's something demonic. If it was so sinfull. How did any of us ever get born?
Since when did chastity solve anything? When was it ever a good idea NOT to inform people about what happens, but simply say "it's bad"?!?
I'd like to think that the human race has evolved... You know, learned something from our mistakes over the past, oh I don't know... 2000 years? But at times like this, I sometimes wonder if this really is the case...
All we've gotten is technology. Humans are still the same bloody ignorant sheep they always were... *sigh*

I'll take the beating in advance. No, I'm not bashing Amerika. What ever affects you guys will affect us. This is what frustrates me. If the swedish were messed up, no worries, if the Germans were, the world wouldn't notice. But Amerika has this habbit of letting us feel the change. So I'm beginning to consider yanks as the worlds population. And the worlds population as yanks. No other country has as much influence. Every other country wishes it wasn't so

No bashing needed there Oddy. I absolutely agree with you.
Ignorance is a thing many people want in this country. They like it. They strive for it. Give them their 8-10 hour job, enough money to keep them in a stable amount of debt, so they can afford their TV to watch their sports, and their alcoholic beverages, and they're happy.
Hell, going to war? That's entertainment! We like to see bad things happen on TV.
As for sexuality and how american society approaches it, completely agreed there. Same thing with a lot of drugs.
One thing I find funny about America is how we always go to war against things. You've probably heard George Carlin talk about this at length, and I agree with him on it. We like to go to war against ideas, which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, because it makes us think we're serious about it. Ahh well, at least it gives us something interesting to see on the news every once in a while for entertainment value.

And amazingly enough the election was split pretty much 50-50 (well 49-51 sorta) and though I'm certain it wasn't all based on that I'm sure it was one of the biggest factors. Then again some folks have a slightly different religion - the one with different numbers on it's "wafers" (talkin' bout money)

By chance has anyone checked this lately? I did today. just going through my favorites, found this there and figured I'd check in on it. No, I never did. But I just read through the pics of about 20 of those pages. that's insane how many people replied.
I never dug my webcam out of the closet. I'll have to find it and see if I can get it to work now. I actually got literally teary looking through those sorries and some of the "don't be sorry, we know" reply pictures from other countries.
Holy crap I'm crying again. That's just wierd. :/
