I played doom 3 to the end and got horribly depressed

I even upgraded my fuggin card for it

anyways, that game freaked me out, and it was dark and claustrophobic as hell
did i say hell?
the part where there were about six different cells with zombies locked in with dead inmates with glass windows was almost too much, especially when i had accidentally released them and had to go back through that way, and all the damn lights were out. and the programmers put little *and big* random details here and there that wouldnt be used again in the game just to mess with you, friggin mental warfare.

Some people it didnt affect at all
I couldnt think straight for a week,

I just gor frustrated with it and desided to sodd it... I'd been hoping for a FPS, not a FPWAILLLFTE (First Person Walk Around In Low Light Looking For The Enemies).
The latter, while creepy n' all, was just not what I was in the mood for... So I installed Serious Sam II and played that to satisfy my shooting needs instead...

The first few levels, when I got to a creepy part I would save, go downstairs, have a cup of hot cocoa, sit for a while, and take another whack at it.

Zombies eating dead inmates? I dont really see the horror in this, considering Doom III is chock full of this.

I'm curious :), even if it'll scare me.

May sound odd but I played through it the first time without too much trouble being scared. Then I try to go thru again and I'm without a doubt more than a bit creeped out. I guess I was amazed by the graphics... Hell hever held such beauty for lack of a better description. :?
