Cures for being tired?

Postby Stichboy » Tue Nov 02, 2004 6:18 pm

So the winter is coming as it every friggen year does, no that is not a bad thing i just HATE snow. And when the winter comes days get shorter and darker (its 7pm here and damned dark outside) and when it gets darker i get tired or so i noticed yesterday.

what happened you ask?

Well this happened, i got home from work around 4pm i ate watched some tv and decided to go take a nap...12 hours later...i wake up and i have to go to work. And its not just that i find it hard to gather my energy for anything. i hardly ever go out, i dont even feel like doing stuff, so if any of you nice ppl have some insane advices to give i'm game cause i need a change before i end up sleeping all the days and nights.

thank you.

is there a doctor in the house!?

Walking... seriously.

I realize that when I'm not moving around enough I'm more tired than before, get out and walk at least. And I don't mean from the front door to the mailbox, I mean like 10 blocks and back.

I'm the opposite. Heat and sun makes me tired as hell. Cloudy, dark and cool weather invigorates me. :)

In fact, I've had trouble sleeping lately. LOL

Exercise is good advice, though. Not that I do much of it myself.
I may be retired, but I'm GridStream for life.

I never have problems sleeping, nor staying awake.

If I'm really having a problem sleeping, I go to trigonometry lecture. Whew, 5 minutes after that and I'm asleep.

Seriously though, you could go the route of the caffeine addict. That usually starts early, and it becomes addictive.

The other is regular exercise. Exercise makes the body healthy and regulated. It will also give you more energy if you maintain daily minimum 20 minute regimen. It's also good for relieving stress, which can cause some of that tiredness.
