Don't know if this will include the recent "party" held at reets by Funcom and XPlay, but XPlay is reviewing AI on the 19th of October at Either 8 pm PST (11 pm EST) or 9 PM PST (Midnight EST)

May be worth the watch for those who get the channel

Just watched it. Other than being called a 'nerd party' the expansion got 4 out of 5 rating. Not bad I guess.. But one thing did catch my eye.. their graphics! I want whatever system they have! The game looked GREAT!

anyhow, I had the tape rolling.... I'll look into getting it encoded and available for download. will take a few days before I can get around to that though. maybe this weekend if I'm lucky.

Tarryk, you said you'd be interested in hitting the bar? anyone else up for drinks in East Lansing? any of you have the 30th open? Halloween does not impact my weekend in any adverse ways, so I don't mind having a hangover for it

Anyway, Halloween's a very huge holiday for me (bigger than christmas as it were) and I'll be out of state, so that weekend's out, sorry.

Nevermind the fact Tristalyn got slammed with a crowd out of no where with no notice being told "here host this party so we can make it look good in front of the cameras." (not an exact qoute no.) Nevermind the fact Trist done a KICK ASS job under stress. Nevermind the fact GSP did anything at all. Nah, those people were just there doing dance emotes for the F*** of it. No wait.. they were.. they were groovin their asses off to that "in game" music. Psht.

Again... this is the feelings of Switchfront himself. My post does not resemble anything of GSP, JUST MY FEELINGS ALONE.

Well let's just say that this is the second time that a G4 affiliate has come into a GSP party unannounced with cameras making self-important demands and not caring about anyone else so long as they can get their screenshot.

I'm not angry that GSP didn't get mentioned in an AO review. I'm angry that GSP's notoriety was used first-handedly to achieve a goal for which we weren't so much as thanked. The amount of work that was poured into playing cleanup on that mess that fell entirely onto GSP staff was astronomical.

One big notation: we are not placing fault on FC or ARK for any of this. They were not in full possession of the facts at the time, and a couple mistakes were made that we talked about and corrected.

None of it would have happened if the self-centered buffoons at G4 could see more than an inch past their own ego to perchance take notice of who they abused to get a screenie for their low-rated piddly little tv show.

I'm not too fond of G4 anymore either. I'm glad I didn't repurchase cable TV to get the channel, cause that would have been the only reason. Not a chance now.

NOTATION: I should ad that my abject hatred for large commercial-driven corporations might contribute to my lack of respect for them. It's difficult to respect people who care more about the numerical ratings and demographics than they care about actually entertaining people. Maybe they should try turning it into a hobby and see what it's like to actually entertain publically for a change.

I can certainly understand and relate to the rants about GSP not being mentioned. Hell, I would have been happy with a quick scan of me standing on the couch. That didn't happen either.

Yes, I was put under pressure, last minute, unnanounced and got nothing for it but a bunch of lag. I couldn't even give away real prizes because I couldn't lag my mouse to hit the accept button. I did the best I could. I was angry when it happened and even more-so now that we weren't even credited.

There wouldn't have been a party there without GSP. I doubt those at G4 were even tuned in to GSP. All GSP is to them was a way to get them what they wanted. I felt used and abused by FC to start with, being told to announce this and that and so on without warning, but now that I've seen the video, it seems we were used and abused by G4 as well. I'm glad they got what they wanted at our expense. Afterall, it seems that's what we're here for.
