well nexeus... first i grew out my old 'hawk a bit... then shaved the sides... add hair glue to the back and fan it up. egg whites, pomade, freeze spray, elmer's glue, a super thick gel, or tons of hair spray are also common methods of putting up a mohawk. as you can see the front was getting too long so i couldn't fan it all the way because of lack of head room in my car.

btw...you mean you've never asked any of those kids in the east village? you do live in nyc right?

/me applauds Demon for knowing the old-school hardcore solutions to the raising of the mohawk but takes off style points for the wussy suggestion of gel mousse, which is the yuppy's way out.

Not bad for a youngin... not bad. There's hope for the future yet.

Mwahahahaaaa....!

out of curiousity, what's your age estimate, bootay? i may not be as old as you though i wouldn't really say i cross into the "hope for the future" bit quite yet... but i could be wrong.

good call, 27... i've just observed way to much in life and others' lives to consider myself a youngin, perhaps it's where i've grown up or... no it's definately where i grew up, i've seen and been through way too much.

smothered hope fly from sorrow for a new divine tomorrow
i just don't want to know anymore
life shifts up and down everybody knows it's wrong
why don't you care? now does it seem fair?
it's not in the rhyme or reason
so it goes with every season crawl to top fall through bottom
first hand love is really rotten
slice of life find what's plenty inch towards a sanctuary
light with me inside the womb
i know everyone everybody knows it's me
it's my voice, my voice cries out obscenity
sightless eye regard my past sometimes it should
i just don't want to know anymore.

Naw bro, he was quoting the post-industrial Cevin Key/Nivek Ogre musical outfit known as Skinny Puppy. Damn kids nowadays. Oh and by the way, about the ages, that info appears in that little field to the left of your post (crap, what is that called?!).... :P

Don't let the pride in age trip you up, luv. The youngins don't want to be youngins and us old farts wish we WERE youngins. The perverse nature of humankind I guess.

The only person I don't really think of as a "youngin" is Jugsy. I giggle at Tarryk and Otori for calling themselves old when they're my BF's age and I get constant ribbing for being a cradle robber over him. (LOL he's only 3 years older than you) Hee hee!

/me *LOVES* Jugsy because she makes her feel like a youngin.

You sure are being unfriendly to the old and wise with that small text. Don't you know the eyes are one of the first things to go???

You're only as old as you feel guys. If you wanna be old fumbling around with your canes, go right ahead. Don't blame me if I make a joke about it though.

I may be 14, but my inner child is 21. Does that mean I can drink?

bootay's just living younger, until i was called a youngin, i didn't even think of her as anything but a peer. hell i still don't. maybe it's just most people irl i hang out with are in their 30's and they're all a bunch of nonconformists. or maybe it's the hair.

tacz : you can if you visit some of our european players. ;)

Had it been just 1½ years ago, you could drink in DK at 15... Now it's 16... I dunno, sometimes I think they should raise it more... Yet sometimes I think it's healthy they don't alianate alcohol and wait till peeps are 18-21... My friend had his friend from California over... He was 18, but he could only hold like 3 beers and 2 shots... Then he was light headed... He was pretty cool, but after that, he started acting a lil' childish... He was like our 16-year-olds when they drink... Simply because he wasn't used to it a lot...

3 beers? Sheesh, if I could just do with that, it would be cheap to go to town... Oh well.
Thing is, at 16, they're already experimenting with kissing, touching and in quite a few situations (the average age here) sex. So why is alcohol banned?
I don't think it's unhealthy if it's controlled... Sure there are slip ups, there are for grown ups too... A lot of them. I just don't think it's responsible to screen them from it for as long as possible... It'll just make it harder for them later on when people expect them to be on par, and thus, don't take the into consideration that they're not.
