Wow, this reminds me so much of one time that we let one of my friends' girlfriend to become a jump-in druid in D&D. It was her initiative turn, and she held up the whole thing with about a 15 minute cell-phone call. In general, slowed things down alot.

Moral: Never let a girly-girl play tabletops. Or at least smash her cell phone.

We took the alignment test with the new edition of D&D. All had to answer truthfully as they'd played their char's over the last period of time...

My Chaotic Evil and Chaotic Neutral were tied with Lawfull Evil on second...
Since that stupid test, my mates never let my halfling rogue walk behind then, and they started tying me up when we camped... The buggers! ^^

That said, I prefer Vampire... Haven't tried "Requiem" but from what I've seen, I prefer "The Masquerade"... Only real shame with V:TM is, that most of the players are socialy inadept and use it as a means to smash things up that they coulnd't in RL. Like a lot of the griefers you see in AO. They don't RP, they just smash things. Makes for a REALLY boring game, which is a shame, cus vamp, when played right, has a LOT of potential. The whole personal horror plot is a really powerful means of RP and makes for some very interesting games. But sadly, as is almost always the case, most peeps just see numbers, and make them higher... To hell with background, they play maths, not story... *sigh*

Worst group I ever joined were a bunch of peeps playing 4th gen' vamps. They completely ignored the Carmarilla or Sabbat, were independant, and were off to kill the Prince of Berlin, which one of them informed me, was their usual plot... Needless to say, I didn't have another session with them... Oh well... Erh, I thin I thread jacked... Uhm, oops! Erh, here... Have it back!
