Oh man... you're in DC?? This is the absolute worst time of year to visit here. =(

I hope you're having a little fun at least. Don't forget to drink LOTS of water while touring. Make your dad take you to the Smithsonian, especially the Air and Space Museum and the Natural History Museum. For out of towners who didn't visit them every single year of their school lives, those are most AWESOME points of interest.

Have a safe and happy trip, DF

yeah... its humid as hell... and makes you very sweaty... even at night when you're wearing some very thin pants and a t shirt. its such a transition from the weather I now call perfect in california. where I live is so different from everywhere else I've gone. Where I live, it never snows, but rains very hard, and the average temperature, is somewhat perfect feeling. and the summer is different in areas just a bridge away. the east bay summer is hot but not like DC, but like DC at night and the summer in san francisco just seems like a lot of sun.
uhh.... thats all folks

thanks saintboo, I'll start nagging after I post this. :)

Well yeah, the West Coast in general gets many benefits the rest of us don't. Being on the edge of the continent where friendly waters come around to make your seasons a bit different helps. Here in Wisconsin I go from potentialy tons of snow and a month of subzero wheater to a month of 80 degrees plus and often massive humidity to make it all fun.
