man, i just cant get over how inviting this pic is, it makes me want to keep my donations to funcom (subscription fees) going even though im not playing much of their game due to homework.
yeah i know its been out for long... but i wanted to share it around for those who havent seen it.

from what ive heard, AI is going to be -amazing-. player towns, alien battles and equiptment... sounds like a perfect expansion for a sci-fi game eh?

I love the pics of the new yalms too. The aliens also look rather Xenomorph-ish to me as well. I'm looking forward to this expansion ^_^

That main pic is pretty misleading though I think. I kinda doubt we'll be flying attack Yalms shooting at the spaceships.

Nice notes about the ability to set up cloaking towers to keep aliens mostly away from your city though. Worrysome note about Alien XP though - another leveling grind being added here?

AI is going to be the reason I come back to AO full time.

My only gripe, however, is how Funcom recycles so many of it's models. Many of the new Alien mobs are clearly made with the body of a flea from Rubi-Ka, just a new skin and different legs :/.

And don't even get me started on the SL mob models.
