Have all the fun you want, but spam is spam, and by almost your entire post just being emotes....that is spam. About the only thing we'll moderate is (1) Filling up a post with garbage, just to make the post really long, (2) Personal flames against anybody else on these boards in public view.

Besides that its pretty much free game. Nobody's gonna stifle your opinion, or even get onto you for using "teh" moronic talk. I'm really pretty easy to get along with.

You didn't cause any trouble bro, but with ya being kinda new to the forums thought I would let you know that just plain out spamming isn't very acceptable.....actually its usually frowned upon in most forums. Honestly, I don't see how posting a bunch of smileys is "fun" for anybody. For the most part you can post whatever you want to post as long as it follows those 2 simple, little rules I posted above...which shouldn't even be rules, just common sense.

Actually I believe its $14.95/month, but either way this isn't Rubi-Ka....you can probably get away with more here.

This makes me feel good. One reason I've been on the forums for 2 years and counting is that everone is forgiving when someone does something wrong or immature, and helps set them down the right path. Forgive and forget.

Well 'Tori posted the sorta official GSP rules for postings & that's pretty much what ya gotta live by.

A Spam once or twice here or there might not get ya in trouble, but like 10 in 2 days definately hastens your trip to banned-ville as far as I am concerned

Now I have my own personal rules/guidelines for posting

1. A post should never only impart the simple acknowledgement that "I did indeed read the last post"

2. related to #1, a post should endeavour to bring something to the table which others might feel inclined to comment on (said comment not counting if it's "Hey, I read that") - this helps to continue our dialogue and fosters a sense of community

(hmm though I had more, but that's all that comes to mind now)

And if the sky fell & I was a moderator of these forums I'm afraid some folks would probably lose 100 posts a month :wink:
