And sorry >.< It's been debated for awhile now whether I was going to get it.. Went last week to get my boyfriends nipples pierced and I totally chickened out. So we made a deal.. If he gets his PA done I'll pierce my tongue. I think we go next Thursday I'm so scared. I'm a huge baby.. I flinched like someone slapped me when I got my nose done. But we did alot of research and the majority claims it doesn't hurt at all so.. here's hoping they're right!

Well... I know how you feel... I was kinda terrified, I'm almost phobic with needles. (Long story, suffice to say I spent 4 hours in emergency surgery after a dog attack, and they couldn't put me out, so I could feel every needle and cut. Always twich if som'n comes near my face now, and if I see a needle...)

But it wasn't all bad. Tho let's face it, even if everyone in the world told you it wouldn't hurt, you'd still be nervous, so let's just be honest.

No! It doesn't hurt. Yes! You can feel it. Someone is punching a needle through a muscle. It's that fast you wont see it coming, and it actually happens before you think it will... Like it skips a stage, so you're not prepared for it, which is good.

The next few days (read two weeks) you will sound like a total spas (avoid the phrases "F*** you" and "Screw you!" as it'll only make you sound funnier). Get used to yoghurts and stuff, and kiss any kind of real meal goodbye for two weeks! I got fedd up with it and ate a micro wave pizza, you know, the small 5 min to eat kind... Took me two hours to cut it into pieces small enough to swallow.

Oh, and for the record... CLEAN IT EVERY DAY!!!
The stuff you get for it tastes worse than anything you would imagine to find in hell, and you can't eat or drink an hour before or after... BUT DO IT!
That's what cost me mine...
The liquid helps you heal faster, and since I kinda slacked on it, my hole hadn't totally sealed when my GF asked me to take it out one day. She wanted to try the diff when kissing (the night we hooked up). I did, and we fooled around for 3 hours or so before I remembered that I should prolly have put it back in... By then it was too late...

2.5 months of crap, and I mess it up... I had finally gotten full controll over my tongue and was able to flick it fast enough not to trace it again, and I loose it! (don't ask, it's som'n I do when I'm bored... Might seem a lil' grose, but I've been flickin my tongue since I was a todler. Missed not bein able to.)

When you get it done, you cant use your tongue intimately for a long time. Usually 5 weeks. No kissing, no anything. S'why you get it done while single!

Who knows... If we break up, maybe I'll get it redone... Tho it doesn't look that way for quite a while... Which isna't all bad

I've already been advised to eat alot of ice chips... so I've decided to cheat a bit. I'm going to freeze koolaid cubes to suck on. (I'm the biggest ice/water hater ever)

I'll let ya know how it goes. We're going to video tape it cuz my sister in Italy doesn't believe I have the guts. Maybe I can find out how to get it on here to show you all if interested.
