joined party in D-town... i know a decent quantity of michigan players who are in the same boat as you, tarryk, or with other obligations like young children which would place that trip out of reach for them. but if you can get free for just one night... party at synn and jos' house!! or if interest is big enough talk with sybil and see how much mike would rent out city for the night (would then have to be a week night though) with dj jon noble for tunes... :twisted:

all the parties we ever throw already have synn, jos, and spin... and from what i hear there seems to be a decent amount of players in the area, the fact that we're 30-40 min away from two real colleges (U of M, Eastern M)doesn't hurt either.

/me really wants to go to NC too, but is going with jos to chi-town in early april and she will nobody to watch her little twin spawns twice that close together...plus we already have a huge house party to be at on the 20th.

LOL OMGz! So this thing's going down in the city my oral surgeon got himself snowed in at when he should have been fixing my teeth in January.

I hope more details happen soon, as if I have any hopes of getting my BF to drive me down there for the event, I'll need concrete info and a set of accurate directions from the Northern VA area as far in advance as humanly possible. Otherwise I'm going to have to beg a ride off someone. Which sucks.

2. I cannot moderate the AO forums, but lord knows I wanted to. I watched the NC Party thread in Reet Retreat forum get obliterated by hundreds of people bashing this party because it's in america and they can't make it (meanwhile they get their own ROOTED thread there for the oslo party). I take only a small amount of pleasure in having demolished the posts in this thread that are discussions of an unrelated party that is covered in another thread, and should be kept there. If it is where I'm thinking (Durham) that is about an hour and a half from my place. If it is any time after mid may, I'll have the apartment to myself, and can house a few GSP types. Alcohol included.

Bah, just noted the times and such. I'd still have room for one, maybe two people here in the apartment if anyone is coming down.

I'll definitely go, though, since its no more than an hour and a half away.
