the bios setup there is running in DOS. while computers still use DOS, most dont use it as a BIOS setup. **shrugs** just a guess.

Um. that screenie unless I'm mistaken is from just after the GFX card has said hello and the energy etc logo is shown. and the memory count has started. when the mem test is over THEN the keyboard/mouse and io's are checked, then the floppy/cd/hd's are checked. then booting starts.
And THEN the os is started. (i.e dos/windows/linux/whatever)

So where ya get the idea of it being DOS is beyond me. lol
There is more or less two types of bios OS'es out there.
"AwardBIOS" and um the other I can't recall the name of ooh wait "PhoenixBIOS" i think it was. 99% of all mobo's use one or the other, sometimes a customized version of one.

and if i m not mistaken, the award is prefered for stationary, and the other (i think it was indeed something with phoenix) is prefered for laptops.
And mac uses prolly something totally other.

POST then BIOS then OS. Lots of letters for people to look up on search engines, in that order. Hehe.

From that screen he hung on the POST part, which is why only the Award logo and RAM check are shown.

Anyways, I've got Fruityloops.. it's a fun program, although it feels somewhat clunky when you're trying to write a song melody you don't want to repeat. Eh, I just use Mixmeister for layering and Traktor Studio for the actual mixing.. any notes or melodies I need I try to make in Cakewalk, but my piano skill sucks at the moment. Hehe.

Only had time to listen to Levelling is for Losers, was pretty funny. :)

Hmm.. the high contrast version I listened to had some spots where it was hard to distinguish which voice is which (ie, Gimp or Twink), you might consider doing a fx tweak like Tarryk does for Epicine or Yxxil unless you wanted them to blend like that. Or have a second person, that'd work too. Hmm... only other thing I heard was you might try putting more emphasis on one of the vocal track's emotions. For some reason, they both seem fairly flat to me. Something like having the Gimp be stressed out all the time cause he's constantly getting killed or nervous. Hehe. Nice work overall, keep 'em coming soon as your comp's more RAM friendly. :D

I heard from Compaq customer support that rubbing your RAM in a sock on the carpet for five minutes then nuking it in the microwave helps. Might try that. *grins*
