*thinks about reviving the old pics of his desks before and after, just so I can prove how messy a person I am, and just cuz Ultronns pic reminded me*

The long hair would look cool, but the chunk of metal sounds painful :?

I'm comfortable enough with my heterosexuality to rate males on the classic 1-10 scale. I give you a 7. Would be higher, but as a photographer I can say that black and white doesn't do you justice as a subject.

I admire that. I consider myself extremely secure with my sexuality, but I still can't seem to be able to tell how much of a "looker" a guy is. Unless of course he's out of the vast grey zone. I can see the 10's, and I can see the 1's, but 2-9 faces just blur together into "dudes".

Once, I intentionally wore a bright yellow t-shirt to school and when people asked why I responded: "Because Im absolutely sure that Im not gay"

Try it

Its fun to see the looks on peoples faces

Dude... I'm the collage "Odd-ball" (doubt that really surprises anyone...)
I could wear a pink dress, and peeps would look and shrug...
So... Sorry... I don't think it would work for me... Although I could wear som'n mainstream... But it wouldn't be a question of sexuality... More a question of sellin out...

Then again, I've had peeps think I was gay or bi, as we tend to joke a lot about it... and take the jokes pretty far...
People look ever so strange when two guys are groamin each other, while laughin at all the gapin mouthes... but then... That's gettin more and more normal here... Who knows... maybe I am hahaha

I consider myself a 7, and to rate another guy I think about whether or not I'm jealous about anything in his looks. I wish I had that Brad Pitt Fight Club naked torso look. If the guy has something that I think I would like to have, he rates higher than I do. The opposite applies if the guy has something I'm glad I don't have. Robert Deniro's wrinkly face, for example, makes me give him a 5.

So it's not a 1-10 rating of how attractive I think the guy is, it's a rating of whether or not I'm jealous of him.

THAT's where the attraction part comes in, LOL.

Seriously, on the other points since my last one: I can understand that it's more than feasible to create a rating system, and along the lines of what the Irish Guy says, I'm partial to agree, to a slightly different extent.

I'll rate a guy based on his demeanor: the combination of looks, how he presents himself to others, and his persona. Overall: coolness factor.

Eminem is not cool. He is "ugly" in my book. Ozzy Osbourne is not cool, a very ugly person. Neal Stephenson is cool. George Thorogood is cool. Both just cool guys. As examples.

I'll rate a girl based on: The exact same thing, with the rare exception of actually being seriously physically attracted to her, but even those are bolstered primarily by her demeanor.

Meg Ryan is extremely NOT cool. Uglified by her persona. Carrie-Anne Moss ("Trinity") is not cool. I hate how she carries herself, just not an attractive person. Jewel is extremely cool. Missy Elliot is extremely cool. Ani DeFranco...well, you just can't get much cooler than the Ani...whether you like her music or not.

I'm with Tarryk on this one. What a person is definately effects the sexyness factor. It certainly does on me (and for me), that's for sure.

Physically, I'd rate myself a 5, but my personality and the way I carry myself add a couple points to that in the eyes of people around me so that most people around me tend to see me as sexay.

This makes the homely-sexay category to work the way it does. Take someone like Rutger Hauer or Christopher Walkin. They're NOT GQ material by any stretch of the imagination, yet many of my female associates would rate them a 10 because the men are SO good at carrying themselves and are so high on good personality.

Someone, like say... Britany Spears works like that only in reverse. She has a body most people would agree is somewhere in the 7-8 zone, but her personality and the way she handles herself drops her down to a 3 or 4. She was definately pushing 3 when she carelessly whapped me with her carry-on luggage on the plane to New Orleans a few years ago.

You were within striking range of Britney... And didn't take a shot?... I'm impressed, I'd have tried to trip her or som'n...

On that factor tho, I can only agree! Every single person I've ever been atracted to for more than a day1 has had a personality to match.

I cant stand people who look like they're sorry to be there. It might be the most gorgeous person on the planet, but if she(/he) hasn't got the confidence to even walk into a crowd... Well, sorry, but looks do matter, and how we present ourselves DOES play a big part in anyones oppinion of us!

There is ALWAYS an exception tho, and in my book, it's Lucy Liu... Can't help it, I'm SUCH a sucker for asians... It's almost scary at times...
*sigh* :(

Peeps can get atracted to anyone at any time, as long as the setting is right, so a 5 min atraction obviously doesn't mean shit
