math is the most boring subject, and one of the girls in my classroom did all of the next 2 weeks of math homework, she musta been sick... with reverse bordom sickness...

Actually, Im looking into a career in computer programming, so I think math is kinda fun =D I just hate homework in general.

and, have you noticed that the english/history curiculum is being filled up with christianity? its like they are teaching us how to be christians without taking us to church, they're are poisoning our food...
i remember being marked down for not giving the description of certain profets and wHat they did... and i go to a public school. its scary

homework sucks.

In college, you dont get homework that often. you just get evil research projects that are like a month or two worth of homework, rolled into one nice, cursed package.

In HS, I voluntarily didnt do alot of my homework, and although I graduated with a 3.2 GPA, I could have had much closer to a 4.0 if i actually did my homework. In my HS, that would have taken me from the middle of the 3rd quarter, to the top of the 2nd, and made a HUGE difference in my college path. (I would have graduated from college by now).

My advice is even though it sucks, do it. It may seem pointless, and stupid, especially math (even though it is for sickos, as oddy said so well), but it has to be done. When you are in college, and dont have to take remedial classes, or have to struggle through classes like Calculus, you will understand why its so important.

Also, I have found that math study groups are a GREAT way to meet new people... especially ones of the opposite gender that you would be too shy to approach otherwise.

I had a bad habit of not getting my homework in for quite a few years way back when. I was still getting good grades tho, remarkably. Later on, though, I improved and my grades skyrocketed. Im happy now, that Im actually getting the tedious stuff done with.

the wierdest thing is, that i had at university the 1st 2 semester lots of math lessons, with tons of theoretical crazy stuff, and now in the 5th sem i know all that crappy shit has actually use in the real world too.

so tacz, i ll bet you are gonna need that stuff, not what u r doing now, but what you are doing in ~3 years.

the high energy astrophysics one sounds cool. I am in an astronomy class right now, and if the math wasnt so evil, i would pursue a degree in astrophysics. im good at it... just hate math.
