LOL, those "reviews" were funny. I think that the next generation kids (our kids) will look back at quake, quake2 and the similar type and just laugh and say something like "They used mouses and keyboards? And the graphics just sux, it's not looking anywhere reality." (Coming from kids where all gaming is done in full VR powered by extreme chips capable of reproducing reality better than reality itself) :P

At first, when I read that last line, I laughed. Then my laughter puttered off in silence, and I simply felt old.

Kids review games we grew up with.
Sad and amusing at the same time.

I should shoot you. You are not old. I was a teenager when I was playing these things. You were a toddler.

Tarryk is not old. Neither am I and I'm older than Tarryk. Just because we're old enough to be some of your parents doesn't make us old. It makes YOU young. When I finally get old enough that my hair starts going grey or white without the aid of bleach and dye and I stop being able to mosh, THEN you can start saying that we're old. But that's a long way from now, so simmer down and don't make me mug you for your boots.

*checks the entry in bootays profile*
u r old enough, as good as.

but u should be glad that we kids still say u r old.
u should worry when the kids stop to say that, cuz they think u r so old, u r already dead ;P that will be in ~1.5years

You will find it quite hard to mug for for my boots, SaintBootay...as I currently wear no boots.

Did you say furry? Fur... equals... HIDE! SKIN THE HOBBIT! Then with the use of an earth crystal and some grass thread, we shall have hobbit gaiters! How stylish!

One point five years, eh, Mummu? Get back to me in two... maybe you'll think you're in Poltergiest 20. By then my New Rocks shall be truely broken in and I can show you how solid a dead 40-year-old GraveGrrl's boots feel when applied with love to your kneecaps. Or should I wait another year or so until you're legal to mug?

Tee hee!

in 1.5 years u cant scare me no more, if u would try it now, well i would lay all my hope into a good run.
in the summer time i get pensioners (everyone above 40 ;P ) (or there dogs) in the dozen betweeen my spokes.

that i like to tease older ppl comes from the fact that since 8th grade nearly everyone i know in rl is older than me :)

I like to pick on younger kids since nearly every single one of them I know non-RL doesn't seem to know how to spell the words "you" or "are". :)

Well, I guess, you easily overtake bad habbits, when you use a non mother-tongue mainly while playing on the net.

P.S.
Yes I had to write all three 'you's a second time.

_____edit_____

Hey, lets from now on use only german, we dont have so much alsways used words like 'you' and 'are' that can be so easily shortened. On the other hand we use quite some imported non german words, wich we have 'eingedeutscht', that is also not better.
Its about time everyone becomes a telepath. Shortcuts for thoughts....

Dude... German is cool and all... But let's NOT all speak it!!! :?
It's the one language in the world, that has that many kasus rules, that even it's own people don't know all of them... There no other language where the natives have as little a clue as how to speak it correctly than the german one! Not sayin I could, I like every one else on this planet can't tell your kasus rules appart... But it doesn't change the fact...
So I think we're better of with english... don't you?
