Did you know the region in ancient Turkey known as the Roman province of Galatia was originally settled by Celts/Gaels? The Celts started in the Danube River area, went south and split into East and West. The Eastern branch went through Greece and as far as Central Turkey before finally being stopped and settling. They were known as κελτοι in Greek, but Galli in Latin. The Western branch went to France (the Gauls), and then some went on up to Britain, splitting some more there.
So...what were we talking about? Oh, right, congrats Caliana.
