Firia, you should definately keep at the drawing. It's a talent that only grows with use. And you DEFINATELY have the talent.

Your stationary reminds me of the old Captain Harlock animes. LOVE the retro style.

hehe, yeah, I'm definately going to keep at drawing. I love drawing, and I'm very giddy over the fact that I only seem to be getting better. And while my "compition" is an unrelenting super beast of artistic talent, I'm bound and determined to do my best and become the best my time will alow for me. ^_^

And I've been drawing anime'ishly since middle school. Once in a while I draw something the impresses the hell outta me, which is tough to do, trust me.

I'm more likely to be impressed by stick figures of another persons creation than my own work. ^_^;

I know the feeling only too well...
I stopped drawin at some point in the past, and I never really started again, shame really... When you started this thread, you made me wanna do it again, but alas, so is the nature of my rather fleeting attention. I simply have to much going on in my head, and never quite seem to be satisfied with what I draw... Especially since I can see my skills have dropped radically, when compared to what I used to be able to do!

This, of course, is the result of me not drawing for a few years, and thus I, naturally, suck compared to before...
I dunno... I'm just not motivated as often as I used to, and when I am, I find I'm not able to do a good enough job with it compared to my old work...
I guess I should start again, but then, I guess I should do my homework, and I don't do that either... S'also becomming a prob really... lol

eeeeh, I still have problems with hands. ^_^;
I used to be down right awful, but I got better.
So you're not going to like the very-easy-for-me-to-say answer, but the secret is practice.

I find it also helps to draw out circles and connecting lines. know what I mean? it's like the skellital frame where you can (lightly) draw in the flesh around it. Then after that you can draw in clothes or whatever.

yupppp... thats what everyone says, if everyone says it, its must be true. I am also a fan of pockets, ever since i started to draw my creations with their hands in their pockets (to cover up my badness) i started to walk around with my hands in my pockets... :shock:

Well I guess a plus side to pockets would be that you get good practice with showing buldge crease lines in the matterial, based on the tightness of the pants. ^_^

That is, if you've even been doing that. :mrgreen:

Back in the day, I had characters hold their hands behind their backs. ^_^

nowadays girls my age are wearing pants that come off easily and look very tight on them (tight = constricting). the pants even look like they hurt they're soo tight. some of meh girlfriends complain bout their pants felling like they'll come off. meh never seen it happen, but meh sure want to
