Okay I haven't gotten on world yet, but I already heard something about this patch that I'm soo exicted about...

Yep no better place, and now we can lounge as well...
Ohh and the GUI is awesome, at least the part they changed - why didn't they change the rest as well - but it truly roxx

And the perks, now I really can't wait for SL - isn't it tomorrow it'll be in my mailbox? I sure hope so...

No they didn't. I heard about this "new girl" too, but she's not in the same place that lewison was. The front section of the glass floor is clear of NPC spammage.

Well, as long as the area is clear of spamage. ^_^
When I breifly showed up on world, I stepped onto the glass dance floor and saw Nexus. And then, admist our talking, I heard, "w... what?".

I remembered Tarryk gripe about it to agent orange, and my eyes just narrowed. ^_^ I wondered if my lvl 50'ish dock could take the capt. (alas he was red.)

And he kept going "wh... wha?" several times in the course of my short stay at Reets. ^_^ Sooooooo, huzzah for his departure!

Was there even a use for that captain before?

lewison was the NPC soldiers had to talk to for the Legchopper ring quest. But since the ring is useless to a solitus soldier (only useful to trox... and thats marginal), nobody talked to him. (kinda figures that soldiers get the dumbest NPC for our quest)

Anyway... I tried oh-so-hard to kill lewison on RK2. but since its 100% gas.. cant. at least he is gone now.

This patch is total crap. Funcom is completely screwing over Fixers. Check out the official fixer forum and you'll see what I mean. Anywho, I really wanna use the new GUI, but it's so hard to see the HP of my enemy or my friends when you can't freaking move their HP bars at the top of the screen. All in all, I loathe this patch. OOOh the loathing thats going on man oh man. Loathe loathe loathe.

Whine whine whine. The patch rocks.

And they renegged your little fixer nerf and are reversing the evac thing. So stop crying and focus on the parts of the patch that mean something, not just affect how uber you think you are.

And the HP bars of the enemy? Oh come ON, learn to adapt, for crying out loud! Move YOUR windows around it. That's what I did, got used to it in about 3 or 4 combats, and now it's second nature already.

Been playing non-stop for a while, and I am in LOVE with the new layout and GUI, personally. (and btw, the new GUI is made with XML...which means if you know what you are doing, you can tweak it to your heart's content)

I agree, given, I don't play anymore. But I went and read the forums, and in general, what they're all saying is:

"I made my Atrox fixer because it's the most uber fixer there is, so I'm as uber as can be. But this new armour stuff has made me less uber *insert apropriate whining noises* and I don't think it's fair, cus now I have to think for myself and not just follow the template everyone else is using for being uber..."

Honestly, buuh-frickin-hoo!
So what if you can't use the TOP OF THE POPS armour... Here's a thought, make your char so it's fun, not so you're an UBER "gridtrox" (I have a deep and recentfull hatred to that guy... as you might have noticed) and maybe, just maybe, you'd have more fun with the game when it evolves in a natural direction, that didn't exactly fit you power-gamin little needs...

This is NOT directed at Scream, but those lamers from the Fixers forum...

Actually oddy, the main rants are:

-being unable to use evacs while rooted (going to be fixed)
-only get 2 runbuffs in SL (one at 50 next one at 155, huge ass gap, no?)
-no class defining abilities in SL
-if we get a certain perk in SL (and its a good one) we will not be able to use GA at. ever. even on rubi-ka.

The Atrox fixers, however, do need a little love, but they knew what they were getting into when they started the trox fixer.
