lol 17 here. but the entire test sounds like it's intended for modem users,
those of us that are always online and with fixed rates tend to be "on" more frequently but shorter length of time each "session".
I definetly should have had like 70+ on this test, but instead I ended up with 17, due to all the no comply, just shows the test is flawed.
As a test, choose 5 on the first two questions, then no comply on all the rest. you end up with a score of 10.
Which is wrong, this test lacks modifiers to the questions that's added if there is a no-comply etc.
Let's see, I got 17. let me see if I can re-calculate this properly.
My 17 with weight modifiers should really be ah 37.7 is my final score. hmm tought it would have been higher. hmmmm.
Here's how to correct all that no comply stuff.
Count how many answers you DID answer on.
In my case I answered on 9 and had 11 no-comply.
Do this math:
20 / number of answers = modifier
result * modifer = actual result.
In my case I answered 9 questions (the other 11 was no comply, thus 0)
and got a score of 17, so:
20 / 9 = 2.2222222222222222222222222222222
17 * 2.2222222222222222222222222222222 = 37.777777777777777777777777777774
Naturally, since most (conciesouly (sp?) or not) tend to pick on average one answer lower than it really is. (one rarly feel one overdo anything your self.
So myself I add this to the new answer.
37.777777777777777777777777777774 + 20 = 57.777777777777777777777777777774
Which puts me in the 50 -79 points: You are experiencing occasional or frequent problems because of the Internet. You should consider their full impact on your life.
Which sounds more believable as I'm a heavy "netter".
Or rather, I spend more time with my computer than I do wit the net so, this test isn't really that valid for me lol
For you math buffs here is the formula:
(score * (20 / number of answered questions) ) + 20 = final score
Naturally this formula isn't perfect as those that answer 5 on all questions end up way above 100 but heh. THAT may be accurate as well lol...
