well, try
-waitung some more, a minute or so, if still sothing starts to build up
-try it tomorrow again or
-check in th options something bout viewing/showing pics
i didnt use ie since a couple of month.....
i think its under extra -> internetoptions -> erweitert (sorry dont ve the english version, its the far right thing 'more' maybe?) -> multimedia -> show pics.

that could it be, but i gues there r also a couple of other, arround 2 or 3 thousand, things wich could be the reason.
