Vebjørn Strømmen one of FC's many awsome artist! Check this.

Vebjørn Strømmen is a gamer at heart, and always starts talking about a new game when we meet... and that's like every day. He's lucky that his wife, and the mother to his two kids, shares his passion. He has worked on AO since the early concept period, and celebrates his 10th year as a Funcom artist. Vebjørn is the creative force behind the remarkable look of most of the monsters in AO. He seems to invent new and amazing monsters with such ease and speed that it's impressive to behold. He's also an expert on weapons. Last but not least: Vebjørn is the father of the Leet! He also has a knack for Conan, and so far he has drawn over 80 Conan covers during his spare time. Knowing how scantily clad the women are on those covers it's rather obvious that Vebjørn would welcome more T&A in AO. Hint: If you happen to find his homepage some boss mobs in AO may look a bit different... Whippergirl... say no more.

Check out his site, you'll see a bunch of AO'like stuff (like certain mobs) in both the 3d and art sections. Along with a bunch of Conanish stuff.

PS! Be warned there is barely clad and in some cases nude closeups of *cough* of gals, particulary one of the mobs in AO ahem... plus his latest Buffy 3d model. (I bet Ragnar Tørnquist digs that one :P

There's lots of other cool art to look at tough. *see all males and some gals run off to checkout some of the "mobs"*
Okieee... lol

Whoa. The artwork there rocks..and yeah, it isn't quite G-rated. Long as you can handle that, it's some great art and rendering.

And I almost hate to say this, but check out the rendering on the nude Morgan model...talk about detail! ...no, really, I AM appreciating it for the detail, and not the fact that it's a closeup of...nevermind, heh.

In closing, what's with the pubic clanner tattoo on the one model...? How rare a mission reward is THAT tattoo? :P

Hmm, actually that I think *squints his eyes and trying not to look to weird staring*
that looks like the Quake symbol. (the model is downloadable for Quake btw)

And yeah the closeup heh, caught me a bit off-guard too when I scrolled the page down.
Gotta hand it to him tough, he is very detail skilled. not often you see a fully detailed model, usually lots of "stuff" is skipped that normaly is never seen. Hmm makes me wonder how all the AO chars really look under all them clothes :P Hmm, or maybe those detail versions never made it live.. lol

But wow, the detail. only negative I have to say is the cheeks (up in the face silly :P is a bit to puffy/round for the shape of the head. unless he explicitly went for the unusual look.

Oooh checkout this kickass doc btw :P

Nice stuff, really nice. I like art like this....now if I could only draw this good.

The guy likes the female form, which I can relate to completely.

Nothing like appreciating works of art.

Just recenetly re-remembered this post!
His art still rocks. and as 2 new MMO's from FC is in the works. (as the rumours say). and a new game.
plus The Longest Journey 2. Dreamfall which Vebjørn Strømmen is a artist on. His site is still quite interesting. (not due to just the pictures *grin*).

Btw! His site can definetly be considered R rated, and not fully work safe in a picture or two.
