Repeats for non-US players?

Postby Ylixia » Thu Jan 30, 2003 9:55 pm

Much as I love the shows, I only ever catch the start of them as they're on too late :? eg Tarryk starts 1am for me.

So... what about broadcasting a repeat of each show on the following day, but a bit earlier? After all there are a lot of European players...

If I am not mistaken, Tarryk used to rerun Talk Deviant the next day at around Noon EST. I don't know if he still does this or not, but I will give Tristalyn and Tarryk both a nice poke and find out... or perhaps one or both of them will post in answer to your question.

Either way, I will be poking. I love to poke, thanks for a reason. :P

The problem is this:
Before he had a secondary system he used to run playlists from, but a while back this system gave up and ever since he has been without it.

But I think he's about to get a new secondary system up and running in the near future (correct me if I am mistaken Tarryk).

X hit the mark there. With my secondary system, it was much easier to run playlists and therefore keep the rerun schedule going (Which was every Monday at noon EST/5pm GMT).

With lynx's help, we should have a new secondary system up and running by this sunday.

Don't get sarcastic here Mummu. I don't really like the tone there. What you have to understand is that we do this for FREE, we don't get payed for anything. And since we don't get payed anything for that which is GSP, everything comes from our own pockets, many of which or not so deep to support a new uber computer system every month. So if Tarryk says he thinks he will have a system up this sunday, he will, otherwise he will let us all know.

So far I have yet seen anything announced by us that has not yet happened.

hehe, I didn't realise that the secondary system going down was part of the problem. ^_^ I thought it was just timing the list perfectly was the thing. And huzzah to Tarryk!

Not cool Mummu, not cool. :?

I am aware I have not been around much lately, but one place I have been is here on the Forums. This is not the first time that you have been warned about your attitude Mummu, and this comment goes beyond not cool. One more warning from any member of GSP and I am sure Xtrophic and arrange to end your ability to post at all. This website and these forums are a privilage to our fans, not a right. Treat my people with respect.

Thank you.

now i'm confused, i thought u would have noticed already that there normally is no way to take anything from me a serious way.
well perhaps its cause u just see my posts not the tone i would use if i would say it.

i m a mostly very straight person, at least in my behaviour (not if its for decisions) and i dont use sarcasm (most ppl dont get it if i try),
if i dont like someone i ll simple not look at them with my ass.
if someone i do not not like does something i dont like, i ll say it straight in his face.

so, if u see something like above there is no way that its meant negative,
thats just me.

and what i absoluty not get is why u even started this one, cause if u interprete it like u did, u would notice that my post was directed to tarryk,
so it would be criticism against tarryk, and that means that tarryk is the only person who have to deal with it.

but cause this post is not my normal way to handle something like this and i do not not like ya ( i dont know if u can negate the negative in english grammar, in german u can) i m going to show ya hoe i handle it normally:

This is where you are mistaken. Any criticism or attack against any member of GSP draws my attention and will be reacted to by me. That is part of being the Director of GSP.

If being negative against other people is your 'usual way', then you will need to take a moment before posting anything to ensure that it does not come across negative and offensive.

My warning stands.

director, director is a word i dont think would fit right, its something that has not a good sound around it, and what u posted dont sound bad, its absolutly the right thing, but the wrong execution of the thought, i would do it a more calm way.

besides:

and plz remember i m not a native english speaker (my knowledge of english vocabulary, grammar and normallity is very rare), so ther is always the possibilty of culture dependencies, whats common use in german maybe heavily offending in english and vice versa.

I will take into consideration that English is not your first language Mummu, and as such will try not to judge your comments and opinions as criticism or negativeness.
