Ah yes, the life of a support technicians. That's when co-workers ask for help with their computers I either A) play ignorant and say I don't know too much about computers, or B) tell them I charge $25 for every hours with a $25 charge just for looking at the problem.
The amount of people asking for my advice has been cut down dramaticaly.

Oh yeah? I live in an area with a ton of old people(low taxes in area = retirement heaven)...a ton of old people who all know that I use a computer every day. That and people think I'm some computer genius since I've practically grown up using some sort of computer or another.

Funny part is, I don't know JACK about this stuff. But hey, usually these people are so lost, you don't really need to know much in order to help 'em, heh.

ROFL ohhh these things are so, sooo true *wipes coffee from monitor after a good old laugh*

I don't know about the geek smell though. I seem to have the contrary problem, but that's certainly due to an inherent flaw of mine bearing the name of 'feminine gender'. It usually needs an hard disk replacement and some more tinkering with the BIOS for people to change their mind :p
I'm the best in what I do - and what I do ain't pretty.
