Halloween Goodies!

I've only killed a few Uncle Pumpkinheads so far this year so I don't have a list of all the new treats available. I'm sure someone can fill them all in.

The TSW event has only gone live a short while ago and since I'm at work I don't have info on what may be the same or different. However, I did see this list of items available in the item store:

New clothes and accessories are available:
-Plague Doctor
-Angel's halos in many colors (plastic, made in china)
-Devil horns in many colors (plastic, made in china)
-Magician's hats (black or brown)(cobweb and dust included)
-Sets of wings (different colors for feather ones, one for bat-like ones)
-Squeleton gloves
-Skull mask
-Vampire bite marks
-Pumpkin head with sorcerer hat (brown or black)


Also, the Kellas cat is back! But... (yeah, there's often a but in topics recently)
... it can't be bought for a whole account.

I'm pretty sure a couple of these things were on our wish lists this year. Can't wait to check them out!

If anyone wants to post back with lists or pics from either game (either shop items or drops) that would be really appreciated!

I'm at work so only have access to the shop right now, but this is what I got screenshots of for TSW. The items appeared to be the same for my female and male characters (although I'm not sure why the female outfit has the white detailing and the male one doesn't when they both appear to in the picture). There's some cute jewelry and dresses in there, too, but I suspect they showed up while I was on vacation. Oh the shopping I'll be doing...

Well I have completed all the Halloween missions for 2013 in TSW (including re-running the Cat God) Excellent missions! - But be prepared to do a LOT of running!

I have to say I was totally unimpressed with the rewards though... the most common one I got was a paltry 5000 pax oput of the blue trick or treat bags.... Managed a couple of black bullion, some treats (same as green bags) a foot (yes they're back again) and a bloodstained shirt...
Some of the side missions are easy and pretty much instant, some will fry your brain!
Jack's dungeon is pretty easy if you get to an instance with plenty of ppl doing it and get your pumpkin down.. then do some damage and stay alive... reward: just another story page and blue bag.. very underwhelming...
I dont know if I'll be repeating any of these only due to the running and zoning required.. but they were fun the 1st time around

Yeah ain't that the truth! I don't want to give a spoiler (and I haven't run them all yet) but there is one where you have to remember something from the early game. I was like... wut...? I had to look up the spoiler because there was no way I was remembering that from over a year ago.

Also one of the missions is kicking my ass hard.

I haven't done jack's dungeon yet but I was hoping for a better reward all things considered. Oh well.

I am having a really good time though and didn't want to quit last night. The stories are worth pausing to read as well!

Back to rewards though: I think I'm going to be spending money in the item shop as well. I have to agree with Dyna that the mission rewards and bags from mob drops are fairly mediocre. (and maybe it's just me but I haven't even gotten as many of the haunted mobs this year as I found last year).

Dunno how many of you check the TSW forums often (I don't) and dunno how many check the item shop every time they log in (I usually do.) In game during one of the shows people were commenting on the lack of an 'account wide' purchase option for the new Halloween items. The account wide option has been added to them for those who did not know it yet. And it works, I bought a Kellas Kitty and it went to both my characters. If I remember correctly from browsing shop help, if you buy something for one character and then buy it later 'account wide' it is supposed to just charge you the difference. I haven't tested that yet though.

Just a reminder on Funcom's so called "Account Wide" purchases... Clothing is GENDER SPECIFIC.. even if there is both sex versions of the costume available... If you buy a costume "account wide" on a female character, that costume is then ONLY available for female characters on your account!@ (Yeah I got burned with this..) Not happy Joyce!

That still kinda bugs me... I mean fair enough if it's say one of the dresses... yeah can see the issue... but say the devil horns, or where there is a variant for the opposite sex like the costumes.. surely can't be that hard to code in.

Eh, yeah, I was hoping account wide would give it to my male char, too. I mean, I only have one. Annoying to have to re-buy things just for him. However, I am glad that they made the newly released items account-wide. I was holding off on getting more than the white angel wings (which I just had to have) in the hopes that this would happen. My two other female chars will be pleased. (I don't trust the whole "it will only charge you the difference" thing.)

The stuff is now account wide and CS will refund you points if things got hinky and you wasted points buying them on characters you didn't need to.
