It was a long journey, fraught with many perils. Still I managed to get through it alone...mostly. There is one part where you have to defeat 3 waves of attackers. The first wave was difficult but doable. The second wave, not so much. I was just about to call for back-up when another player happened along doing the same mission and helped me (read: cut through them like a hot knife through butter). Yay for random strangers with swords!!
It was after midnight when I finally got my whip and I sat there hesitating over accepting the final part of the mission chain. Go to bed I told myself (much as I had an hour before when kicking off the segment that would finally put a whip in my hand). But I grabbed up the keys and was off to jump the train.
That was a mistake actually, not just because of the late hour but I'm already a bad jumper and there are parts on that train where this doesn't bode well. I gave up at nearly 1 but I will go back to try again another day.

Still even without having done that, I will say that this whole mission chain was enjoyable even if it was frustrating at times. Well thought out and well constructed. If I had any problem it would be the part where you get the whip. I found it odd that you could complete the entire chain and not end up with a whip at all. It's really never mentioned. If not for the guides and things I had heard along the way, I wouldn't have know what to do or how to even get it let alone make it usable. Otherwise, well done.
Now, having said all that, let's just get back to the important part: Vallikat has a whip!!
