I'll be online again in a month or two. I usually take a summer break from all gaming and return in fall/winter.

I need to reinstall AO though and buy a new subscription.

Oh lord...one of my friends reminded me of Gridstream and Anarchy Online and the friends that disappeared and/or left.

I logged in around xmas time and just...I couldn't take it. It was horrible! The newer games just have the graphics beat and usually it doesn't bother me since I still play some older games on my PC such as Master of Magic, I still love that game...I just could not justify making another subscription to an MMO this old. I can barely justify playing to play World of Warcraft.

I do miss my old friends...that is something that won't change.

A lot of my old AO friends have quit, I haven't seen them for ages... I miss the old major newb times and how fun things were back then. :) Like Halloween and Christmas. =] Ah, hunting for socialwear I've never seen before. That was amazing.

I can understand how someone can play some of the newer games then come back to AO and be all 'oh gawd'. :) The graphics really are outdated though the engine can be pretty fun. ^^ AO is AO, no matter how it looks, it's still fun. :p Let's hope the new engine will come out in the next decade.

Glad to see people come back! You make me remember the awesome times. :)

Thought I'd stick my head over the other side of the fence. I Keep hearing stories of AO, so I thought I'd take a quick peek ...

Those quick peeks may last a while, Dasch ;)

I play a lot! Every day if uni allows me to. AO is still hands on the best MMO I've ever found. I don't mind the graphics, and I find the quirks it has just makes it more unique and fun :)

Agreed. I pretty much play every day, unless I'm just too exhausted due to work schedule and staying up too late at GSP parties! Hah! :P lol

Well, I'm still in the very first area at the moment, mostly i'm playing TSW (or partying with GSP in TSW). But now I have toons in AO too, I may stick my head in more often - when there's nothing much happening in TSW ..

Careful! AO has been found to be highly addictive! Why some people have been known to spend all night playing and forget to sleep! Not saying WHO.. just some people hehehe

I replaced my AO addiction with a Dabo addiction... (Not to be confused with an STO addiction.)
