Price: Ask nice, don't ask if I'm "taking requests". Just ask for a song. Don't ask a billion times. Don't bribe. Don't chat. Just ask for the song, and I'll play it if I have it.

That pretty much goes for all the DJ's. say the Artist and the song title.
If we cant find the spesific song we'll find something else from the artist.

If we dont have THAT then . Well "I" at least may play something in the same genre/style.
(if I have no clue of the requested artist/songs's style I may reply back asking that

I always try to put in songs ppl want to hear after the "current" playing song or the "next" song. but this isnt always possible.

As far as I know none of the DJ's will "get" stuff while airing.
So if we cant easily find it in our collections.
Please request it here on the forum in the appropriate Station sections

And I agree wth Tarryk. just ASK for the song.

The right way:
"you: Could you play Eminem - Without me ?"
"Tarryk: yep, np"

The Wrong way:
"you: Um. Tarryk, you busy?"
"Tarryk: what is it?"
"you: are you live now?"
"Tarryk: *Cough* erm. ... yeah"
"you: do you take requests?"
"Tarryk: yeah, what do you wanna hear?"
"you: um. that song that. um.. oh what was it. um it was Eminem I think"
"Tarryk: uhu"
"you: withme or something it was called, i think"
"Tarryk: Eminem's, Without me ?"
"you: yeah. erm no. maybe it was um.."
"Tarryk: ........"

hehe! a nasty example there but. it happens a lot.


Um, also saying stuff like the following may increase your chances of hearing something you like played

"you: could you play Eminem - without me, or Drowning pool, let the bodies hit the floor, or some nightwish, 10th man down?"
"Tarryk: sure"

If your lucky you might end up hearing as much as all 3 played during the a show etc

We do, and I've been known to get songs while broadcasting as well.

But it is RARE. Please do not count on it. Usually, while we're DJing, we're VERY busy trying to get all the requests in and record all the announcements and shoutouts we're being asked to do. Very frequently, grabbing a song on the fly that we don't already have is VERY difficult.

So again, please don't count on it.
