Just a few nonsense tricks in AO as I remember them.
* Auto-run is 0 on the numpad, as everyone knows. For those of us who use the mouse and WASD controls, the numpad doesn't really factor in. A trick to auto run is, while holding down W to run, "roll off" the shift key. That is to say, while you're pressing W, press down on the left shift key, then let up on the W and then let up on the shift. You're autorunning now, same as numpad 0.
* Hotbar numbers! I'm only including this because every time I see a video of someone playing AO, they're all over the place clicking the hotbar to switch between bars and to click on the shortcuts therein. Shift + toprow numbers will switch to that hotbar, and while that one is up, just hitting the numbers 1 thru 0 will execute that shortcut/nano/skill/macro/whatevs.
* Typing /camp automatically sits you down and begins the logout process, after which it will close AO. Typing /quit will instantly close AO.
* I'm pretty sure this is still the case: When you're in a regular yalm and you go to first-person, your camera will be partially blocked by the nose of the yalm (if you have F10 selected to show your character in first person, possibly even if you don't). If you paint the yalm any color, it will disappear in first person, giving you an unobstructed view.
Further AO weirdness as I can remember. Feel free to add your own.
