I'm not going to get into the politics of it all and I'm not trying to defend it because I'm mad at all of them just at the moment. However, there is a lot more to this than that. A lot of bigger picture stuff that has to do with the budget.

A pile of ticks is no joke. You may have an infestation in your yard or where ever you dog plays. I'd get the dog checked out and make sure any live ones don't spread around the house. Nothing good comes from pile of ticks.

Those aren't just any ticks, their Poli-ticks with like 8 heads and 10 stomachs.
Forget checking the infestation, just burn the place down and wait for an insurance payout.
