Postby Cheese » Sun Jan 23, 2011 4:00 am

Hello all,

Havent been able to log in or even tuen in for a coupel weeks. Out in China working too much to do anything and even if I had time the internet is a little odd. Cant find a plan that is worth the money right now.

All in all me and Lolita are building up a business and working hard. Will be back in a couple weeks with some stories to tell.
Quite a life on a developing paradise.

Back in Korea for now.
Waiting on Lolita's diploma then we're going home to China. Marriage will be done on paper just after we arrive so I dont get kicked back across the ocean.

We had quite a time working in the family laundry facility, well laundry factory. We do thousands of kilos of laundry, never seen so many towels and bedsheets. (PS dont use the napkins in first class, hehe)
We wash well, but wow you should see what "standard practice" is for most hotels and laundry facilities. And it seems the more expensive the hotel the more questionable the practices.

Anyway were doing good and looking forward to a nice long life together. When we have everything properly set up at home expect to see me at random times. Being part of a family business means that you work when there's work to be done regardless of time.
I'm kinda jealous of the 12 hour shifts and 2 days off a month our workers have.

I'm sure there will be lots of stories to share also. China is one hell of an interesting country and most of the "information" about it dosent make sense when you put yoru feet on the soil.

Good luck everyone and keep in touch.

This should work.
Pictures of the factory and one of the beach. Took them at noon when almost all of the goodies have been delivered and everyone is eating. You should see it at night its like an ant farm. Pretty amazing what everyone does every day.

Hello again everyone.

Been busy with so many things over here. Washing loads are going well and we can trust the minors to do their jobs well now. Seeing as people are finally working we have some free time to do things we wanted to from the start.

We started an Etsy shop for some jewlery we put together.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/NaturalSanya?ref=pr_shop_more
There's going to be many more things to come with that.

We are planning to expand into a travel and culture exchange website to help tourists, people studying Chinese, and so many more things. Going to need help with that as my web skills are at the 1995 level.

I've caught a few shows as we can listen here, but still having trouble logging in to AO. Always listening, but hardly talking - Goobucket

24 Apr 2011 UPDATE
I just bought a house here in China. Will be living in Shenzhen now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenzhen
SO... If anyone has a shopping list of stuff they need and trust me enough to go to the source I can hook ya up with cheap prices.

A good example is a naked 2GB usb costs about 6 USD from the wholesale shop. Theres great opportunity for savings on that next electrical good.
Its pretty amazing when you see the raw prices for goods from spoons to 10sq meeter LCD displays.

The best goes out to everyone and expect to see me more the middle of next month. Theres so much to do when you live in the fastest growing city on the planet.

A couple pictures off our place.
It needs a little work, but the top floor rocks. I hope they forget the photography equipment when they move.

Updated a couple photos in the post above, and my Etsy site has a few new things.

About to post a proper Etsy profile of our location and store, but need to take more pictures. Here's a preview of the beach.

Hello everyone I just wanted to show some GSP love~

My shop on ETSY now has a special coupon code for GSP people only.
25% off anything in my shop just type in

gsp251001

for the code at checkout.
You can also see some proper photos of my wife, she's modelling the goods.
link to the shop

UPDATE:
My shop got shut down... Apperently being from China I am too suspicious and no one believes I make anything.
So, guess thats it.... I think I'll just have soneone else make our stuff and flood Ebay with junk.
Stupid Etsy.

Good news is that I still have a bunch of good things to sell. Will try to find a new plae to do so. Also I have MUCH more time to get back in touch with GSP. Sweet~
