Doubleshot.
First up, a 30-minute speedpainting of an independant filmmaker, Jesse Cowell, to kill the boredom today.

Secondly, the phantom of the opera. That guy was messed up... not only did he haunt an opera house and communicate only in song, but he wanted to get paid for it!! I'm glad I never have to watch that thing again.

Playing around with different styles & methods...
A friend of mine thought that the faces looked a bit 2-dimensional, so i've been trying to add more shadows to increase depth.
Also, AO really needs that new graphics engine soon. The current models aren't exactly the best for reference.

It's been a blast doing these for you folks and I believe I've actually improved quite a bit, so thank you for all your suggestions and feedback once more!

Well, it's been a week, so here are all the crazy folks I ran into.

Quite a few shows were cancelled and I know that I missed at least one ninja, so I'll probably try to fill in the blanks and do some overall tweaking in the next few weeks. I'll update this post with a newer version, when it's done.

Overall, despite the occasional lack of sleep and copius amounts of energy drinks consumed, it was pretty fun. I finally made it to shows that are usually either way too late or way too early for me.
