It's not April where you are or something, is it? How many time zones would that take, anyway? Approximately... Saturn? You actually made me wish I had a camera, to see just what "incredulous" looks like. I would have bet on you two being there to turn out the lights, too, leaving Tarryk sitting in the dark with a bottle of rum, wondering where to go from there. And a few loyal listeners and dancers trying to keep their candles (or flaming muffins) from igniting the lampshades on their heads.
But you're leaving early. The party's not over yet. So who's going to remember to turn out the lights when it is? Those candles won't have the same effect with the lights still on. See, now ya gone an screwed it all up.
My various alts have had a blast at so many of your shows over the years, and without ever really having a clear idea of just what it is Kira does, so she must have been doing it real well. Your love for the music and the parties and the community... no, family, have been clear all along, so I can imagine how hard this decision was for both of you. You must have come to this conclusion because you're sure it's the right thing for you and for GSP, so there's no need for any guilt.
Yes, of course we'll all miss your shows, Ash. And I'm sure we'll miss how smoothly Kira has kept things running behind the scenes when we start to see loose cogs rolling away from behind that curtain. Thank you both for all your hard work, for all the good times and happy memories you've given us over the years.
Given a choice, I'd rather not find out what Gotham will be like without Batman, but I'm sure it will be an adventure. Batman and ... the Commissioner, I guess? ... taking their leave at the same time. Hey, that's not a bad idea. They should totally BSG the old Batman series, recasting Commissioner Gordon as Barbara Gordon all grown up.
Best of luck to both of you on your RK4 team mission. See ya later.
Do not try to think outside the box, for that is impossible. Simply realize the truth; there is no box.
