Postby Ashval » Wed Jun 03, 2009 2:28 am

Bioware knows how to make a good trailer. :)

Ehh, at least they are in a period of time that can allow for a large number of Jedi.

I won't hold my breath for this MMO based on how the last Star Wars MMO went.

That was one sweet trailer. Been checking in on this game once in a while, looking forward to trying it out.

granted, the trailer looks freaking awesome, and it would certainly be better than swg, I just wish they would do something this cool with original material. The Star Wars theme is just too dried up for my tastes anymore.

Wow. That was pretty sweet! Hopefully the game is better than SWG was.

I never played SWG, but some of my friends did. From what I heard, and saw over their shoulders, it was actually rather good until Sony got a hold of it and ran over it with a nerfdozer. I was actually considering trying it at one point, but then I saw how it changed and lost interest. I'll almost certainly be giving this one a try.
Do not try to think outside the box, for that is impossible. Simply realize the truth; there is no box.

As long as BioWare manages to keep Lucasarts hands away as much as possible. (but still utilize Lucasarts giant database of Star Wars stuff, a lot of which has never seen the light of day) it should be great.

But I too wish they'd make a KoTOR 3. *sniffle* KoTOR was awsome, so was KoTOR2 (team gizka is slowly approaching public release of their Sith Lords restoration project. soon I can play KoTOR2 close to what the devs of Obsidian had wanted) Lucasarts pushed the deadline to hard on that.

It'll be interesting to see hoe Funcom's The Secret World will stack up against BioWare's The Old Republic. It's a given not everything will be voiced in TSW (that "could" change however.) but otherwise, SW:TOR "is" TSW's biggest competitor right now.

Looks hot as hell, I'd still prefer Kotor 3 any day though :(
